“Blokhoofd” Jermaine Berkhoudt is known for the man with many talents. Besides being an all-round hip-hop act (Keizum Wollem, Jaar v/d Blokhoofd), host (Buzzinez Club, GPvR, kunstbende), organiser of DIPS, frontman of the band FunkyOrganizers and spoken-word artist, is Jeremaine also active in the night life circuit as MC JR.

He cannot be ignored from the Rotterdam club scene, ever since his first appearance in Club BED “De Bourgeoisie”.  From Bird, Club Vie, TwentySix (RIP) to Maassilo and other clubs and night attractions in the city. As host he has years of experience with residences at The Scenario, YardBird and Vunzige Deuntjes. His notoriety is well known in Rotterdam, the Netherlands and beyond borders. Being MC in clubs and cities like Paradiso (Amsterdam), Kavka (Antwerpen), Dynamo (Eindhoven) and PassTheDutch (Keulen).

From working with legendary Dutch DJ’s like Benny Rodriquez and Roog & Erick E, to new talents and everything in between. JR is steady with his performances and knows how to please the crowd and artists.

In 2017 MC JR has been busy on stage, standing on Run The Trap XL, Vunzige Deuntjes festival, Oranje Bitter, Blijdrop Festival, Het Amsterdams Verband and Mystery Land.
